We ensure the longevity and optimal performance of every project, from minor repairs to consultation and delivery of maintenance and building services.
Role
Our Auckland-based Asset Management team is looking for a skilled and experienced Trade Assistant to perform various construction duties on site.
The tasks will be diverse, requiring a hands-on individual with a keen eye for efficiency and accuracy. You will take pride in maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring operational safety, and caring for sustainability and the environment. The tasks will be diverse, requiring a hands-on individual with a keen eye for efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Building and repairing structures
- Setting up and taking down barricades and fences
- Testing and tagging tools
- Maintaining and caring for tools
- Assisting with site planning of site activities
- Conducting quality checks on work
- Undertake any tasks within the identifies skill set as requested
- Minimum three to five years in a commercial and or residential construction environment
- Trade experience, ideally with maintenance knowledge
- Great communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- The ability to work part of a team or unsupervised
- Valid New Zealand drivers licence, preferably manual
- Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety
