Site Manager – Waikato

The Role
We are looking for a Site Manager with experience in commercial construction and team leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to our high standards.
   
As a Site Manager, you will uphold Livingstone values and purpose on site. You will oversee all daily activities on site, priortise safety and meet deadlines without compromising on quality and excellence. The ideal candidate will thrive on job variety, excel in leadership and reporting, and possess strong commercial building experience.

Responsibilities are:
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Oversee foremen, carpenters and apprentices as well other sub-contractors
  • Deliver toolbox talks and H&S inductions
  • Identify and manage site risks as well as monitor QA & QC
  • Manage client expectations and work collaboratively with all site staff  
Qualities and Qualifications that we are looking for:
  • Trade carpentry qualification
  • 5+ years’ experience in a hands-on carpentry position and site management
  • Excellent communication and planning skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse team
  • Familiar with MS Office, Procore, MS Project
  • People management and leadership
  • Strong commitment to best practices in Health & Safety, Sustainability, and Environmental standards.
