The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager to oversee and manage our site in Auckland.
 
Key responsibility of this role is to uphold Livingstone values and purposes on site. Your role involves managing the site, prioritizing safety, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines without compromising on high standards and excellence. This position offers diversity, challenges, opportunities for training and inspiration, allowing you to make a significant impact on the project.
 
Other responsibilities of this role are: 
  • Oversee Foremen, Carpenters, Apprentices and subbies
  • Deliver toolbox talks and H&S inductions
  • Identify and manage site risks as well as monitor QA & QC
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Manage client expectations and work collaboratively with all site staff  
To be considered for this role, you will have:  
  • Trade carpentry qualification
  • 5+ years’ experience in a hands-on carpentry position
  • Relevant H&S, WorkSafe guidelines, employment and building compliance related legislation
  • Experience in leading people and site
  • Knowledge of CCA 2002 and Amendment Act and relevant construction contracts
  • Excellent communication and planning skills
