The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our passionate and dynamic team in the Bay of Plenty region, committed to delivering excellence to one of our key clients.
In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for organising on-site activities, ensuring our projects are built safely, on time, within budget, and to our high standards. You will bring strong practical construction experience, great leadership skills, a can-do attitude, and a positive mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand plans, specifications and consents.
- Create and track detailed construction programmes in Microsoft Project
- Build and maintain team morale while working collaboratively with project teams
- Provide prompt and accurate responses to all correspondence, problem solve and resolve construction issues.
- Deliver on time, every time!
- Commercial construction experience (desirable)
- National Certificate in Carpentry and/or relevant experience in the construction sector
- Relevant project management tertiary qualifications
- Experience with MS office suite, primarily MS Project and Excel
- Full Drivers Licence
- Strong relationship management and planning skills
- Ability to articulate with the team
