The role
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Foreman to perform building maintenance for key clients in the Waikato region. You should have extensive knowledge of all aspects of construction and the ability to develop effective solutions. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and grounds, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Perform repairs on carpentry, plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, and HVAC units.
- Decorating [SG1] and repair structural components as needed.
- Inspect buildings for safety and maintenance issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs promptly.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed.
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Minimum three years in a commercial and or residential trades environment
- Broad understanding [SG2]of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
- Great communication skills
- Understanding of field-based software systems
- The ability to work part of a team or unsupervised
