The Sands Stage 1A - New World and Mixed Retail Development

The Sands Stage 1A is the first stage of the new Sands Town Centre in Papamoa Beach. Livingstone was engaged as ECI Contractor to work alongside our key client, Bluehaven Commercial, to develop a comprehensive and effective construction plan to deliver a New World supermarket and multi-use retail block. The project was constructed from a greenfield site, with the supermarket and retail block running concurrently, both buildings spanning a total of 4,901m².

The ECI process was undertaken over 8 months, where the Livingstone team collaborated with the design team and key stakeholders on constructability, material selection, and budget reviews.

Beyond the base build and fitout of the New World, we completed the fitout for the accompanying Anytime Fitness, Ali Baba’s Turkish Restaurant, and GLO Laser Clinic.

This marks the completion of our fifth project with Bluehaven. This phase of the project is Stage 1 of 3 within the first stage of the Town Centre.
